Spooktacular Gala 2023

We are super excited for our Spooktacular Gala which takes place Saturday 4th November with Torfaen Dolphins and Cwmbran Otters.
Our Gala is open to Nofio 5+ and ALN classes (depending on ability – please discuss with your instructor)
Every swimmer will receive a medal and t-shirt for taking part in the event.
Spooktacular 2022 was a great success with 108 children attending our first gala since the sites reopened from the Covid-19 lockdown.



Our swimmers swam either a 25m or 50m race in a full gala set up and absolutely smashed it! 
The swim team were incredibly proud of swimmers and the atmosphere was incredible with the crowd cheering every swimmer right to the finish line.

      FAQ's

      How do I book in my child?
      Instructors will be giving out Spooktacular Packs during lessons, you can either visit Cwmbran or Pontypool Reception or give our Bookings Team a call on 01633 627100 where an Entry Form must be completed, and payment made at the time of booking.

      How much is the event and what does it include?
      Entry Fees are £10 per child, Spectator tickets are £2 with a maximum of two Spectators per child. The Entry Fee includes participating in the event, commemorative medal and t-shirt.


      Who can participate in the Gala?

      • Nofio 5 and above
      • ALN (depending on ability, please speak to their instructor)
      • Fitswim and Multi Aquatics
      When do I need to book my child in by?
      All entrants must be booked in and Entry Forms submitted by Wednesday 25th October. Entries received after this date will not be entered into the Gala.
      What do I need to bring?
      All children will need to bring swimwear, drinks bottle, a towel and goggles.
      What time and where do we go when we arrive at the Centre?
      All entrants are required to arrive at Pontypool for 4:00pm, please ask for Josh, Beck or Kath who will be able to sign you in and direct you where to go. If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to ask.
