Assistant Manager
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to enhance their career and take the next step in leisure management.
We are looking for an experienced leisure professional with strong leadership skills to drive forward the operation and service delivery of Pontypool Active Living Centre.
As Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for day to day operational management of the centre whilst on shift, including programming, staff supervision, health and safety, cleanliness and ensuring first class customer service at all times.
As an Assistant Manager, you will be required to work flexible shift patterns outside normal hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
HOURS: 37 Hours

SALARY: £23,175-£25,750 per annum

Sports Assistant
We are seeking professional, motivated and committed Sports Assistants to join our team to assist in the day to day running of the centre, keeping the facilities to a high standard.
The Sports Assistant role is vital to us maintaining high standards of customer care and customer satisfaction across all of the activities we provide in our centres, including daily lifeguarding duties.
We would expect pride to be at the forefront of the work you will undertake.
The role requires a RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ).
If you are not yet qualified, no problem! We can help provide you with training to get you started via our TLT training agreement.
You will be required to work daytime, evenings, and weekends.

Group Exercise Instructor
We are looking for Group Exercise Instructors to join our team and deliver classes within our Centres which include Pontypool Active Living Centre and Cwmbran Stadium.
Opportunities for training in a range of different class disciplines.
You will have:
An NVQ II Exercise to Music or NVQII in relevant discipline and previous experience of delivering classes in a community or Leisure environment. You should be able to plan single sessions or a series of sessions and have the ability to travel independently between Centres if required.
You should be able to motivate others, have the ability to work on your own initiative and provide exceptional customer service.
Ideally able to teach a variety of class disciplines.
CONTRACT: Casual Contract
CENTRE:Cwmbran Stadium and/or Pontypool Active Living Centre
SALARY: For each 50-minute class plus 10 minutes set up time, the rate of pay per class equates to £16.38

Customer Service Advisor
We have two vacancies within our customer service team to be the first point of contact for customers telephoning to make enquiries or bookings.

Fitness Assistant
We have part time contracted and casual positions available for Fitness Assistants to join our Gym Teams at both Pontypool Active Living Centre and Cwmbran Stadium
Here at Torfaen Leisure Trust our Fitness Team are responsible for the provision of a quality service to customers using the gym and for providing specialist Health & Fitness expertise and knowledge helping with customer journeys by making a positive change within people’s lives
