PAW Patrol® Water Confidence
At Pontypool Active Living Centre
FULLY BOOKED
Want to be brave like Marshall or Smart like Chase around the water and our pools? Then we’ve got some PAW-some sessions for you.
These sessions are aimed for 3-5year olds who are looking to build confidence in the water. The children will be accompanied by our trained instructors and will be completing lots of Paw Patrol themed activities to build their confidence and have the best time.
All of our paw patrol recruits will receive a certificate and badge at the end of the session to share their adventure with you.

Calling all thrill-seeking water warriors aged 8-16! Are you ready to conquer the waves and show off your swimming skills?
Our one-of-a-kind, bespoke Shark Attack inflatable is waiting to challenge even the bravest swimmers. This isn’t your average pool toy – it’s a thrilling obstacle course designed to test your agility, balance, and bravery.
But beware!
Only the most skilled swimmers will be allowed to unleash their inner shark.
To join the hunt, you must:
- Swim a powerful 25 metres: Prove you’ve got the stamina to conquer the waves.
- Tread water like a pro for 30 seconds: Show us your incredible watermanship.
All participants will be tested at the start of the session.

Holiday Splash Course

Join us for an action-packed swimming splash course this October half term at Torfaen Leisure Trust. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to perfect your strokes, this course is the perfect way to make a splash and have fun while learning.
No Membership Needed: Everyone’s welcome! No need to be a current member of our swim school to join the fun.
Progress Towards Your Nofio: If you’re already part of our swimming program, your progress in this course will help you earn your next Nofio.
Nofio 1 – 2 skills Learner pool –These sessions are for children aged 5+ years who have had little to no experience in swimming lessons or currently in our Nofio 1-2 and are looking to build confidence and refine their skills.
Nofio 3 – 6 skills Main Pool – These sessions are designed for children aged 5+ years who have had experience in swimming lessons or currently in our Nofio 3 – 6 and are looking to get in extra practise for any elements children find difficult.

Slime Workshops
At Cwmbran Stadium
The Slime Factory will provide a sleuth of slime ideas through their awesome workshops.
In the engaging workshop they will help guide the slimers to create a variety of different colourful and amazing slime they will absolutely adore.
You will be happy to know that safety always comes first and therefore all their products are non-toxic, hypoallergenic and comply with British safety standards.
All equipment and ingredients for the slime workshop are provided and best of all, the slimers will be able to take their new slime creations home in a secure airtight container.
PLUS access to Go Play is included!
Designed for ages 4 years+ and children must be supervised.
